This stand alone class is perfect for those that have never tried the wheel or just need a refresher course.  Class fee includes instruction, studio fee,
and one piece completely finished.  Additional pieces may be thrown and are $8 per pound of clay. You will be able to return approximately 2 weeks later to
finish your pieces for no additional cost. We require a weeks notice prior to the date of the class in order to arrange for an instructor and class must be paid in
full at time of  reservation.

Six session wheel class
$160 each for the class.

This is a 6 week wheel course where you will learn the basics of wheel pottery.  Techniques you will learn include centering your clay, handles, lids, surface
decoration, glazing and finishing your pieces. Course fee includes 5 classes of instruction for 2 hours each, 8 pounds of clay and free studio time for the
duration of your course. The 6th class is reserved for glazing.  Extra clay can be purchased for $8 per pound once you have used up your class amount.  If you
are an advanced student, we can customize class to your level.  Ages 10 and up, please.

Kids on the wheel ($20 per child, ages 2 and up)
Do you love your kids hand made art pieces?  We are offering 10 minute sessions on the wheel for your child.  Bring your camera and capture them creating
their first masterpieces on the wheel.  Ages 2 and up.  This will be an event to remember, especially when they get to paint their piece approximately 2 weeks
later.  Cost includes 1 completed piece (bisque fired, glazed and glaze fired).  Please call as this is by reservation only.  608-442-9900

Play in the Clay ~ $12 each session (includes 1 project completely finished)

This is an open studio time for kids and adults to come in and receive instruction on how to do hand building in clay. We have many projects and great ideas to
spark any imagination. We will have an instructor on hand to help with your project.   Price includes all materials and clay for 1 project, up to 1 pound of clay,
completely finished (bisque firing, glazing and glaze firing.)Pieces will be available to paint approximately 2 weeks after creation.  Additional projects may be
completed on the same day for an additional fee of $8 per pound.

Suggested class times are 1/2 hour to 45 min for kids 6 and under and 1 hour for those 7 and older.  Adults are welcome to stay.

Clay Studio
Our clay studio has an $8 per person, per day studio fee which covers the use of our space and tools as well as covers the recycling of any clay you do not
keep.  We weigh the pieces wet off the wheel or when you are done hand building. Clay is $8 per pound which covers bisque firing, glazing and glaze firing.

You do not need to take a class to utilize our clay studio; however our employees are not required to know how to throw on the wheel and can not help you if
you come in outside of a class. We have 6 wheels in the studio. Please call the studio to reserve your time as it cannot be guaranteed on a walk in basis.  Clay
pieces require 2 firings in order to be finished. You return to paint your pieces approximately 2 weeks after making them at no extra charge. This extra time
gives the clay the proper time to be dried and fired. After glazing your pieces are ready to pick up 7 to 9 days later.
